My experience
I am an executive mentor and strategic advisor with more than 30 years’ experience across the Australian Public Service, including at the C-suite level and most recently as Deputy Secretary and Chief Operating Officer.
I bring deep experience in governance, enterprise risk, audit and assurance, executive decision-making, and leading through complexity. I am known for my calm, perceptive style and my ability to help senior leaders think clearly, reconnect with their own judgement, and lead sustainably over long careers.
My career spans central agencies and national security environments, where I worked at senior levels on complex, high-stakes issues requiring sound judgement, discretion, and sustained leadership under pressure. I have a current Top Secret PV clearance.
I was named Future Women's inaugural mentor of the year in 2023, and continue to mentor women on their Platinum+ and Jobs Academy programs.
How I work
My approach is highly tailored to the individual. I see the person in front of me and adjust accordingly, helping leaders develop greater range while remaining authentic. Compassion and self-compassion are also part of this work: building a strong internal compass, understanding patterns with curiosity and developing leadership that can be both ambitious and sustainable.

Sessions are available online or in person in Canberra by arrangement. A complimentary 30-minute introductory chat is also available.
For audit and risk work and strategic reviews, I work on a daily rate within agency guidelines. I bring highly developed judgement and strong risk and assurance capability, with extensive experience supporting Prime Ministers, Ministers, Parliament and Executive Boards in high-risk, politically sensitive environments.
